Lead BizABLE Coach | Senior Support Coordinator

I returned to support coordination with The Right Coordination after stepping away for several years because I wanted to work with an organisation that truly prioritises independent, participant-centred practice. I’d notice that larger, catch-all providers often diluted the focus on the individuals that matter most. Rejoining the sector with The Right Coordination has allowed me to bring integrity, lived experience and two decades of sector knowledge to my work each day.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve work across direct support, team leadership, and business development for both large orgs and small startup disability services. I specialised for a decade in managing disability employment programs and designing post-school transition pathways. As a trained and experienced Support Coordinator, I combine practical systems knowledge with a deep understanding of what works on the ground. My personal experience as the mother of a complex school leaver with ASD level 3 and a moderate intellectual disability strongly informs my practice. It’s the lived experience that inspired me to design the BizABLE Microenterprise Program, a creative capacity building initiative that supports participants to start, grow and sustain small businesses. I was proud to bring BizABLE into The Right Coordination so participants can access microenterprise opportunities alongside mainstream supports.

I’m down to earth and approachable. I prioritise listening and building genuine relationships so I can understand what will work best in each person’s life. I treat every participant with the same empathy, respect, and care I would expect for my own family. Practically, that means clear, achievable goal-setting, straightforward planning, strong advocacy, and connections with the right services and community resources.

Outside work I’m a self-confessed business nerd and lifelong learner, currently studying a Diploma of Counselling and exploring AI for business. I’m super passionate about live music; and you’ll rarely find me missing a gig! My vision as a Support Coordinator and BizABLE coach is simple: to enable autonomy, independence, and genuine choice so every person can experience a good life by their own design.
